Introducing John Crummey – professional tour manager/host and keen bowler
John is an active member of Epsom Bowls Club (Auckland) and during 10 years of club membership he has served as board member, President and Chairman of the Board. John also holds membership at Carlton Cornwall Bowling Club (7 years) and got through to the last eight teams in the four’s at the Nationals Bowls Tournament at Browns Bay in 2015.
Describing himself as an ‘Irish Kiwi’, John has lived in New Zealand since 1966. A tourism professional, he knows New Zealand well and has spent a good few years in a variety of people-centred roles including Tour Driver / Guide, Tour Host, Company Manager and Tour Director.
Expect some laughs, a story or two along the way and a bit of a twinkle from those Irish eyes. And the bowling? That’s a very serious and competitive business indeed. That’s what John will tell you anyway!
